Founded in 1984, UQ Table Tennis has grown over the years to be a  club affiliated with Table Tennis Queensland.

We are also an affiliated club within UQ Sport, which provides us with our playing venue in their indoor Sports Hall. Our club can hold up to 12 tables per session and we ran 3 sessions per week.

​

Our club also holds the annual UQ Open Championships, with the goal of hosting a platform where competitive players can meet and determine who is the best.

​

Members of our club has represented the UQ club in state tournaments, with some going on to represent Queensland at national tournaments.

​

 Our club also selects UQ representatives to the annual Australian University Games and have achieved top four for the past two years.

​

We are a friendly social club, striving to create a better experience for members and casual visitors. We encourage players of all ages and skill levels to participate in the sport we love.

​

Regular group coaching sessions led by qualified coaches are available for beginning to intermediate players. Come join us if you're new to table tennis or want to take your game to the next level.

We also host member and UQ student specific events such as UQ Closed Championships, student team competitions, and other social gatherings.
